New labour code: Up to 20% bonus for these staff

Employees earning up to Rs 21,000 monthly qualify for statutory bonus under the Code on Wages, 2019. The bonus ranges from 8.33% to 20% of wages, calculated on the higher of Rs 7,000 or minimum wage. Payment is due within eight months.
