BMW EV 3 Series Undercuts Gas by $4,400

BMW's 2027 3 Series now comes in gas and electric versions, and the EV is cheaper. The electric i3 50 xDrive costs $61,500, while the comparable gas M350 xDrive is $65,900, a 6.7% difference. Both offer similar power and styling, and the i3 travels 468 miles per charge. This undercuts predictions that EVs would reach price parity later this decade.
