AI agent Instinct launched Instinct Selections, pushing unsolicited product recommendations for dining, travel and shopping. Founder Noah Shinn said the feature uses human curators, but users including Array VC's Shruti Gandhi called the suggestions disappointing and spammy. The rollout follows Instinct's $1 billion Series C at a $10 billion valuation, and the company has not disclosed whether it earns money from the recommendations.
