GhostLock (CVE-2026-43499) is a 15-year-old Linux kernel flaw disclosed by Nebula Security. Any logged-in user can gain root control and escape containers on unpatched machines. The exploit is 97% reliable. Google awarded $92,337 through kernelCTF. The flaw was fixed in April, but distributions are still rolling out patches.
