Researchers Patch Abandoned Torrent App

Security researchers from Eye Security discovered a critical flaw in the abandoned Popcorn Time app that could have exposed millions of devices to cyberattacks. They registered the defunct update domain and pushed code to disable the updater, successfully stopping the vulnerability.
