Studios Seek AI-Savvy Film Graduates

Hollywood studios are recruiting film school graduates already trained in AI video tools instead of training staff themselves, Semafor reported. Runway launched an NYU Tisch course in January 2025 and its tools are taught at USC, MIT, Harvard and RISD. Google and OpenAI run their own filmmaker programmes, as Netflix used generative AI in about 300 titles this year.
