OpenAI Launches Always-On AI Agents Called Dots

OpenAI launched dots at DevDay 2026 on Tuesday, always-on AI agents running on GPT-6 Astra with their own cloud computers and browsers. They connect to over 4,000 apps, roll out to ChatGPT Pro and Business Premium users, and are included at no extra cost. Specialist enterprise dots are in preview with Microsoft Agent 365 pilots.
