Mississippi signed a $2 million contract with Australian AI company Acusensus for traffic cameras that capture high-res imagery of drivers at speeds up to 186mph. Public Safety Commissioner Sean Tindell stated no tickets will be issued from the camera data, which will instead identify high-risk crash areas.
