Android 17 brings parental controls to all devices

Google is expanding its built-in parental controls to all Android devices updating to Android 17, after limiting the feature to Pixel phones last year. The controls allow screen-time limits, downtime scheduling, app blocking, and Google Play content filters. The company is also increasing its U.S. digital wellbeing fund by approximately $50 million.
