Australia Expands Smart Glasses Bans

The City of Sydney has banned smart glasses in public pools, gyms, childcare centers, libraries and town halls, joining four other Australian councils. Western Australia will prohibit the devices in schools from October 12. The moves follow a federal ban in government workplaces, driven by privacy concerns and non-consensual recording.
