Excel Cells Now Hold Multiple Values

Microsoft has ended 40 years of single-occupancy for Excel cells, allowing multiple values in one cell via Lists, Arrays in Cells and Nested Arrays. The preview is opt-in and limited to Windows and Mac Beta Channels. Microsoft warns against using it in important workbooks until general availability, as external libraries and features like PivotTables may break.
