Apple Nixes Vision Pro Line, Focuses on Two Smart Glasses

Apple dropped plans for a second Vision Pro and Vision Air. Only two smart glasses are in development: AI smart glasses set for 2027 and AR glasses with optical waveguides due by 2029. The AI smart glasses will rival Meta Ray-Bans. Optical waveguides deliver virtual content over real-world views through transparent lenses. John Ternus will become CEO on September 1, 2026.
