Senate Democrats on the Permanent Subcommittee on Intelligence published a report Monday alleging Tether's USDT helps Iran evade sanctions through a shadow banking network. The report says Iran made an estimated $2 billion in USDT transactions last year and that Tether repeatedly failed to block Iran-linked wallets. Tether says it has frozen nearly $550 million in Iran-linked funds.
