Microsoft Defender PoC Bypasses ShieldBreak Patch

Researcher Chaotic Eclipse released a ShieldCrash proof-of-concept bypassing Microsoft's patch for CVE-2026-69414 (ShieldBreak), enabling arbitrary file read as SYSTEM on all supported Windows versions. The flaw remains exploitable despite fixes in Malware Protection Engine version 1.1.26080.3. Recent PoCs also target CrowdStrike, Kaspersky, Avast, and NVIDIA.
