Apple Prototypes Screenless Whoop-Style Fitness Tracker

Apple is prototyping a screenless fitness tracker in a thin fabric band with sensors in a computing module, Bloomberg reports. The project, backed by Tim Cook and Eddy Cue, remains an early technology investigation and Apple has not decided whether to ship it. If released, it would not launch before 2028, targeting Whoop as smartwatch competition grows.
