Cirrus Logic Bids Cash for Synaptics

Chipmaker Cirrus Logic submitted a rival bid for Synaptics using cash and shares, challenging Onsemi's revised all-cash offer of $123 per share valued at about $5.7bn. Synaptics' board decided Onsemi's proposal was better for shareholders, pushing the expected deal closure to mid-2027.
