1954 Parametron Computer Used No Tubes or Transistors

Eiichi Goto of Japan invented the parametron in 1954, a resonant circuit using a ferrite core and capacitor that represents binary digits via two phases. The device acts as a parametric oscillator, driven at twice its tuned frequency, enabling digital computation without tubes, relays, or transistors.
