A September 2026 analysis of 607,050 postings on employer career sites found 28.3% open more than 90 days, with 94,106 exceeding 180 days. Hospitality leads at 43.9% stale, healthcare lowest at 19.7%. Lever boards show 48.2% stale versus Workday's 17.2%. The median posting is 36 days old, and 4.2% of closed roles were reposted within 30 days.
