Tesla taps ByteDance, DeepSeek to power AI in China

Tesla integrated AI models from ByteDance and DeepSeek into the long-wheelbase Model Y in China. The move improves the voice assistant and likely responds to China's regulatory requirements for AI service providers. Tesla also offers Grok chatbot from xAI in US vehicles since July.
