Kotlin 2.4.0 ships stable context parameters, explicit backing fields, and UUID API support. Kotlin/JVM adds Java 26 support. Kotlin/Native enables CMS GC by default and supports Swift packages as dependencies. Kotlin/Wasm enables incremental compilation by default.
