CoolIT Systems and PurposeMed received accolades at the Start Alberta Tech Awards on Wednesday. CoolIT won Deal of the Year for its $4.75-billion USD exit to Ecolab, the largest disclosed acquisition price for an Alberta-based company. PurposeMed took Anchor of the Year after Grindr acquired its telehealth startups for $250 million USD.
