Mercor, a $10 billion AI unicorn, acquired Deeptune, an Andreessen Horowitz-backed startup that builds simulation environments for AI agents. Founder Brendan Foody had invested in Deeptune's $43 million Series A three months prior. The deal comes after a March data breach exposed four terabytes of Mercor data, including contractor Social Security numbers and biometrics.
