Anthropic released Claude Sonnet 5, a lower-priced model for everyday agent tasks including browser use, planning, coding, and knowledge work. It approaches Opus 4.8's performance while posing fewer dangerous cyber risks than Opus and Mythos. Anthropic is also preparing a Claude agent for Microsoft Teams.
