PayPal publicly rejected a $53bn acquisition offer from Stripe and Advent on its Q2 earnings call. CEO Enrique Lores said the $60.50 per share bid undervalues the company. Cantor Fitzgerald values PayPal closer to $70 a share. Revenue rose 5% to $8.68bn, beating estimates.
