Ukrainian Hacker Gets Four Years for Conti Ransomware

Ukrainian national Oleksii Lytvynenko received a four-year U.S. prison sentence for his role in the Conti ransomware operation. Lytvynenko, 44, worked as a hacker and developer for Conti, which targeted over 1,000 victims and collected more than $150 million in ransoms before shutting down in 2022.
