OpenAI expands Daybreak cybersecurity research program

OpenAI added Daybreak Blue and Daybreak Red access tiers to its Daybreak cybersecurity program, which launched in May. Daybreak Red runs a custom GPT-5.6-Cyber model that completed 95% of benchmark requests versus 1.5% for GPT-5.6 Sol. Hardware security keys become mandatory next month.
