Kospi and U.S. futures jump on Hormuz talks

U.S. stock futures and South Korea's Kospi index surged as U.S.-Iran talks to reopen the Strait of Hormuz sent oil prices plunging. Dow futures rose 337 points, S&P 500 futures jumped 0.80%, and Nasdaq futures shot up 1.28%. U.S. oil tumbled 5.44% to $84.45 a barrel.
