X shipped a completely rebuilt Android app built from scratch on a clean Kotlin and Jetpack Compose stack. The update improves loading, scrolling, and notifications. X head of product Nikita Bier called it one of the largest engineering projects in company history. Support for Spaces and other features is still coming.
