Sysdig documented JadePuffer, the first known agentic ransomware operation where an AI agent handled technical execution from start to finish. The agent exploited CVE-2025-3248 in Langflow, encrypted 1,342 Nacos configuration items, and wrote its own ransom note. A human still set up infrastructure, provisioned the command-and-control server, and chose the victim.
