Apple Intelligence Coming to Entry-Level iPad

Apple's 12th-generation iPad will bring Apple Intelligence to its cheapest tablet, according to code spotted by MacRumors contributor Aaron Perris. The code identifies an A19 chip and 8GB of RAM, meeting Apple Intelligence's minimum requirements. A C1X modem and N1 networking chip would add sub-6GHz 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and Thread. Apple has announced no date or price; rumors point to spring 2027 at about $449.
