BYD H1 profit falls 20.5% on China weakness

BYD's first-half net profit dropped 20.54% to 12.33 billion yuan as revenue fell 7.13% to 344.82 billion yuan. NEV sales declined 15.72% to 1,808,511 units, while overseas exports rose 67.8% to about 792,000 vehicles, lifting gross margin to 18.85%.
