TypeSafe AI, creator of the non-text AI model Jev, raised $870 million in funding at a $7.5 billion valuation. The round, led by Andreessen Horowitz with participation from Sequoia and DCVC, occurred just weeks after the model's Sept. 15 release. Co-founders include former OpenAI researcher Diogo Almeida and former Meta engineer Sasha Sheng.
