Google Photos floating bottom bar arrives on Android

Google Photos is rolling out a floating bottom bar redesign on Android, replacing the docked bar with a floating pill that shows more content. The update, available on iOS since February, includes tabs for Photos, Collections, and Create, plus a search circle for Gemini-powered Ask Photos. Users can restore the old date display via settings.
