The U.S. Treasury sanctioned First VPN Service (1VPNS) and its Ukrainian administrator Dmytro Rashevskyi for providing ransomware groups tools to hide identities and evade detection. A Belarusian national, Yegeniy Vladimirovich Silayev, was also designated for selling cryptors that cloak malware. The sanctions block U.S. transactions with the designees.
