Tata Motors Raises Iveco Bid to 87.8%

Tata Motors raised its takeover bid for Italian truck maker Iveco to €14.40 per share, clearing an 80% acceptance threshold with 87.8% participation on Monday. Tata now holds 89.42% of Iveco's common share capital based on provisional results, while the tender offer ending Monday ran from September 7 and will reopen during November 2-6.
