Pentagon memo directs $244m Palantir purchase

A US Defense Department memo directs subordinates to buy up to $243.9m of Palantir services by 31 March 2027 without competition. Deputy Secretary Stephen Feinberg signed the memo, which also seeks more funding through 2028. Palantir's federal obligations total $3.2bn since 2024, half without bidding.
