Custom EV charging could cut EU energy costs by 2050

Researchers from Delft University of Technology modeled two smart charging technologies for the EU's 2050 energy system. The model compared unidirectional smart charging (V1G) and vehicle-to-grid charging (V2G) to determine the most economically advantageous mode for reducing energy costs.
