Mercedes Joins European Car Brands in Defense Pivot

Mercedes-Benz will produce mobile anti-drone platforms with German defense startup Tytan Technologies. The Drone Defender system mounts Tytan's interceptor drones on G-Class SUVs and Sprinter vans. The interceptor drones ram incoming attack drones and cannot attack ground targets. European car brands are pivoting to defense amid Chinese competition and uneven EV rollout.
