BYD unveils magnetic device for remote car control

BYD previewed a detachable magnetic smart device called Flexible Buttons that controls vehicle functions like infotainment and climate via Bluetooth. The device attaches magnetically for charging in the car. BYD's flagship electric SUV, the Great Tang, will be the first to feature the new tech, launching June 17, 2026.
