MapQuest Adds License Plate Reader Map
3 min read
MapQuest added a feature this week allowing users to locate Flock cameras and other license plate readers via its app. The tool displays tiny eyeballs on the map showing coordinates and types like dome or fixed. This update comes as civil liberties groups oppose the mass surveillance network created by over 140,000 readers across the US.
