Ex-Philips engineer guilty of X-ray trade secret theft

A 71-year-old former Philips engineer, Chih-Yee Jen, was found guilty of stealing medical imaging trade secrets and passing them to Chinese competitor Kunshan GuoLi. Jen worked at Philips' Aurora, Illinois facility and used the secrets to develop X-ray tubes for a subsidiary.
