The Free Software Foundation announced 47 LibreLocal 2026 meetups across 10 countries. The event was organized from prison by a man jailed for cyber-crimes after promoting free software. Meetups occurred in Australia, Mexico, the United States, New Zealand, Cameroon, Switzerland, Spain, Argentina, China, and Iran.
