Adversa AI discovered GuardFall, a bypass that exploits a decades-old shell trick to evade safety filters in open-source AI coding agents. Ten of eleven tested agents, including opencode, Goose, and Cline, are vulnerable. Only Continue defends against it. The flaw lets hidden commands wipe files or steal credentials.
