Anthropic spends $150M on nonprofit AI fellows

Anthropic launched Claude Corps, a $150 million program placing 1,000 AI fellows at over 400 nonprofits. Fellows earn $85,000 plus benefits for one-year placements, with no degree required. The first cohort of 100 starts in October 2026. Applications close July 17.
