Japan's state-backed Rapidus signed 17 chip design firms to secure customers before its 2-nanometre chips launch. The partners include Synopsys, Cadence, and Infosys. Rapidus has $15bn in state backing and plans full-scale output in the second half of the fiscal year beginning April 2032, aiming to list shares by March 2032.
