Databricks targets AI agents with new architecture

Databricks unveiled Lake Transactional/Analytical Processing, an architecture enabling AI agents to access operational and analytics workloads on a single data lake copy. The company also launched Reyden, a compute engine for millisecond query latency. CEO Ali Ghodsi stated AGI is already here, constrained by context, cost, and control.
