Block lifts 2026 outlook on strong quarter, AI code surge

Block raised its full-year gross profit guidance to $12.51 billion after a strong second quarter, with gross profit up 25% year over year to $3.17 billion. Agentic AI wrote and reviewed nearly all production code changes in June, and code changes per engineer are up 150%.
