Upwork cuts forecast as AI pressures marketplace

Upwork cut its full-year revenue forecast to $730m-$750m after gross services volume fell 4% to $966.4m and active clients dropped 4% to 763,000. Shares fell 21% after hours, closing down 15% at $8.39. CEO Hayden Brown cited AI automation, labor weakness, and Google SEO deterioration.
