gFiber teams with Gemtek and Qualcomm to debut an AI-native Wi-Fi 8 gateway featuring 20 gig symmetrical broadband speeds. Demonstrated at Network X 2026, the device uses a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU for edge AI processing. Existing 20 gig customers receive the new gateway once certified, upgrading from legacy GPON to XGS-PON technology.
