SPRIND and NADI Launch €40M Chip Design Challenge

Germany's SPRIND and the Netherlands' NADI launched the AI-Native Chip Design Challenge, committing €40 million to cut chip development from years to weeks. The 20-month programme selects seven teams at €2.6 million each from November to July 2027, then three teams at €7 million. It aims to strengthen Europe's sovereign AI capabilities.
